Chiropractic care should make the problem clearer. Not merely quieter.

Chiropractic care is often associated with back pain, but the real clinical question is wider: how are the spine, joints, muscles, nerves and movement patterns working together—and what is preventing you from doing what matters comfortably?

The Body Works As A System

More than a sore spot. See how the pieces connect.

Movement, joints, muscles, nerves and daily load influence one another. Explore the layers that can shape how your body feels and functions.

Select a card Joint movement

How comfortably and efficiently the joints are moving through relevant ranges.

Why this matters: Chiropractic care at GCC is presented as part of a reasoned assessment and an individual plan—not a one-size-fits-all promise.

A Clearer Way Forward

Care begins before an adjustment

The first responsibility is to understand the history, examine relevant function and decide whether chiropractic care is appropriate. That is why the process starts with questions, movement and clinical findings—not an automatic treatment.

The right technique matters. The right decision matters first.

Why people seek chiropractic care

01

Back Pain

Pain, stiffness, restricted bending, lifting difficulty or recurring lower-back flare-ups.

02

Neck Pain

Tension, reduced rotation, desk-related strain, shoulder involvement or pain that keeps returning.

03

Headaches

Headaches connected with neck tension, posture, restricted movement or recurring muscular strain.

04

A Clear Process

How care is determined

The technique is never the starting point. The person, the findings and the goal come first.

01

Listen

Understand symptoms, history, goals, concerns and the daily activities being affected.

02

Assess

Examine movement, function and relevant neurological or orthopaedic findings.

03

Explain

Connect the findings to what you feel, what they may mean and what deserves attention.

04

Recommend

Discuss suitable options, expected steps and the points where progress should be reviewed.

Why It Matters

Technique follows the person.

Care may involve manual or instrument-assisted approaches, supportive therapies, mobility work, exercises or other recommendations when clinically appropriate.

The method should fit the findings, your comfort, your goals and your stage of care—not the other way around.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers before the next step

Common questions about assessment, suitability, adjustments, timelines and what happens during the first visit.

No GP referral requiredNo routine X-raysClear review points
Is chiropractic care only for back pain?

No. People also seek care for neck pain, headaches, sciatica, nerve symptoms, injury recovery, posture concerns and movement limitations.

Will I be adjusted on the first visit?

Not automatically. The first visit focuses on understanding the concern and completing an appropriate assessment. Care is provided only when clinically suitable and clearly explained.

Are adjustments painful?

Many people find care comfortable, but responses vary. Tell Dr. Eric about concerns, previous experiences or preferences so the approach can be adapted.

How many visits will I need?

That depends on the problem, findings, goals, duration and response. Recommendations should include a rationale and clear review points.

Do I need a GP referral?

A referral is generally not required to book a chiropractic assessment.

Are X-rays taken routinely?

No. The clinic’s current €39 New Patient Experience uses consultation, examination and digital posture scans. Existing MRI or X-ray information can be reviewed when relevant.

Is chiropractic suitable for everyone?

No treatment is appropriate for everyone. The assessment helps identify suitability, necessary modifications or whether another healthcare route is more appropriate.

Can care help me stay active?

The plan can be built around movement and activity goals, including returning to work, family routines, exercise or sport.
